おもてなし武将隊（ぶしょうたい）

友人：歴女（れきじょ）じゃないから、お城（しろ）なんて興味（きょうみ）ないよ。

「名古屋（なごや）おもてなし武将隊（ぶしょうたい）」をご存知（ぞんじ）ですか。

名古屋城（なごやじょう）は1609年（ねん）、徳川家康（とくがわ　いえやす）によって建築（けんちく）が命（めい）じられました。 それから400年後（ねんご）の2009年（ねん）、名古屋（なごや）の観光（かんこう）をPRし、街（まち）を活気（かっき）付（づ）けるために、武将隊（ぶしょうたい）は作（つく）られました。名古屋（なごや）にゆかりのある武将（ぶしょう）6 （めい））と4（めい）の陣笠（じんがさ）がお城（しろ）を案内（あんない）してくれます。また週末（しゅうまつ）には、二の丸庭園（にのまる　ていえん）で演武（えんぶ）を披露（ひろう）しています。多（おお）いときは1000人（にん）を超（こ）える観客（かんきゃく）が集（あつ）まるそうです。名古屋（なごや）で生（う）まれた武将隊（ぶしょうたい）は、大成功（だいせいこう）しました。

雨（あめ）の日（ひ）も風（かぜ）の日（ひ）も、名古屋城（なごやじょう）へ行（い）けば武将隊（ぶしょうたい）に会（あ）えます。彼（かれ）らの立ち居（たちい）振る舞い（ふるまい）は武将（ぶしょう）そのものです。1600年代（ねんだい）初め（はじめ）の様子（ようす）もちゃんと教（おし）えてくれますよ。 演武（えんぶ）の動き（うごき）も語り（かたり）も見事（みごと）です。そして、演武（えんぶ）が終（お）わったら、握手会（あくしゅかい）ならぬ写真会（しゃしんかい）があります。

武将隊（ぶしょうたい）が成功（せいこう）したのは、彼（かれ）らが徹底（てってい）して本物（ほんもの）にこだわったこと、そして、会（あ）いに行（い）ける身近（みじか）な存在（そんざい）だったことが大（おお）きいと言（い）われています。

今（いま）では全国（ぜんこく）で20もの「武将隊（ぶしょうたい）」が活躍（かつやく）しています。皆（みな）さんも、動（うご）く歴史（れきし）に会（あ）いに、お城（しろ）へ行（い）ってみませんか。

Nagoya Hospitality Busho Tai

My friend : I am going to Nagoya next week, is there anywhere you would recommend ?
Me: Well, that's easy...Nagoya castle of course.
My friend: I'm not really a female history buff, so I'm not that interested in castles and stuff like that.

To those of you that think like this... Have you heard of the 'Nagoya hospitality Bushotai Group' ?

The building of Nagoya castle was ordered in 1609 by Ieyasu Tokugawa. And 400 years later in 2009, this Bushotai Group was created in order to activate the promotion of Nagoya's tourism. 6 members dressed as samurai and 4 members dressed as lower-class samurai related to Nagoya's history, guide visitors around the castle. And on weekends, these members put on a play in the Ninomaru garden. On busy days, over 1000 audience members gather to watch this. This Bushotai Group that began in Nagoya has been a great success.

Even if you go to Nagoya castle, on a rainy day or windy day, you can still meet this Bushotai Group. Their behaviour and mannerisms are exactly like samurai warriors. They also tell you all about the prevailing circumstances at the start of the 1600s. And their acting and way of talking is amazing. Then at the end of the play, instead of the standard handshake event, they have a photograph event.

They say that the reason for the success of the Bushotai Group is largely because they are particular about trying to be thoroughly authentic and that they present a presence that is approachable and friendly.

There are now about 20 Bushotai Groups active around the country. Why don't you go to a castle too and meet some living history.
