Introducing

teacher page

Since graduating from university, I have been teaching international students at a Japanese language school. I have taught from beginner to advanced levels and have also been in charge of course scheduling, etc. In JOI's flex lessons, I am in charge of the beginner to intermediate levels, but I can also teach Kanji, vocabulary, and JLPT preparation classes. Private lessons are also available upon consultation.

I like Japanese history and World Heritage Sites, and I research and visit them whenever I have a chance. I also introduce Japanese sightseeing spots, history, and culture in each of my classes. My other hobbies include calligraphy and learning Kanji, so if you want to start learning Kanji, see you in the N4 Kanji class!

What kinds of activities do you include in your online Japanese classes?

squareBeginner 1

In this class, we set up everyday scenes so that you can learn phrases that you can use right away. Even if you don't know much of the language, you can use the chat function to quickly check the vocabulary and phrases you can use. Romaji support is also available, so those who are not very confident in speaking can come with confidence.

squareBeginner 2

We will practice speaking with an awareness of natural conversational flow so that you can enjoy longer conversations with other people. If you would like to increase your vocabulary and use more expressions, please give it a try.

squareLow Intermediate Grammar(N3)

This course is recommended for you if you want to go from beginner to intermediate level, or for you if you already know some everyday conversation but are not confident with using formal expressions. Grammar will be checked, and then example sentences and conversation practice will be given. You will also have opportunities to write out and express your opinion in Japanese - using the Japanese language you know. This is a class where you can do a lot of output!

squareJLPT N4 Kanji

This class is recommended for you if you can read a few kanji but have not written many, or if you want to study for the JLPT N4 kanji and vocabulary. In this class, we will use animations of the stroke order to check how to write the characters, and then you will actually write them on paper to practice. Words using each kanji will also be introduced, so you can study vocabulary as well.
